At the Safety Harbor Museum of Regional History, over 12,000 years of local history is traced from prehistoric times up through today. The museum is located in southeastern Safety Harbor on the site of a Timucuan Indian shell mound on the shores of Old Tampa Bay. Dioramas and displays of fossils, shell tools, photographs, antique postcards and other historic memorabilia are exhibited at the museum, along with a special display of regional importance that is changed three or four times a year.

Adults $3; Seniors and Children 7-18 $2; Children 6 and under are free.
